Welcome to Athlete Assessments’ Academic Program for Sport Communication.
No matter your role, you can use DISC to develop effective communication strategies. Whether your role sees you communicating with athletes and coaches, administrators and other professionals, key stakeholders, or consumers, the ability to develop meaningful and productive relationships is essential in any professional setting.
DISC Profiling is an effective way to expand your self-awareness, develop a comprehensive understanding of yourself and your personal style, as well as the people you interact with. By undertaking this component of your class, you can lift your personal performance to the next level by clearly identifying the factors that will develop your interpersonal skills and maximize relationships with those you work with.
The goal of this program is to guide your understanding of why this is important, and create a strong foundation to apply DISC Profiling to your professional development. Give yourself the best opportunity to reach your full potential in your future career in sport by discovering how to be adaptable, build on your strengths, identify and address potential limiting behaviors, and improve your communication, relationships, and teamwork with others.
