In this video we’re looking at real-life examples of different communication styles in action through a series of interviews with different sport professionals. The interviews include sport psychologists, college and professional coaches, leadership experts, University Academics, and performance coaches who share their own profile and what it looks like in the context of their role.

When watching this video, think about how your own DISC Profile is represented in the different professionals and how you can start to use your understanding to identify the behaviors of others when communicating with them.

Carrie is an exceptional example of a professional in the sports industry using DISC in every aspect of their role, including working with their team and also with their clients.

The below video is an interview with Brian Townsend, Executive Director of Leadership Development at the University of Michigan. Brian is an exceptional example of someone in a leadership position who has utilized DISC across many different applications in sport. He also shares his own experience, from being an athlete, to a coach, to a sports administrator, and now leading a university-wide development program.
