overview: the people side

Welcome to Athlete Assessments’ Team Program Platform!

We will be diving into how to use DISC Profiling to unlock greater potential in your sporting endeavors, by building self-awareness, comprehending team dynamics, and enhancing collaboration and understanding of others in your team. No matter your role on your team, effective communication is the key to building strong relationships and achieving shared goals.

At any stage of your sporting or professional career, self-awareness forms the cornerstone of growth and development. DISC Profiling offers a valuable tool to develop your self-awareness, providing tangible insights into your personal style and those of your peers.

The goal of this program is to guide you through understanding why team dynamics are important, and create a strong foundation to apply DISC Profiling to your professional development. Give yourself the best opportunity to reach your full potential in your future or current career in sport by discovering how to be adaptable, build on your strengths, identify and address potential limiting behaviors, value diversity and differences, and improve your communication, relationships, and teamwork with others.

This platform provides additional resources and activities to support your team in getting the most of the DISC Profiling process, in addition to the consultations with Bo Hanson which focus specifically on your team. It is all about making it effective in practice and competition – and importantly, getting results!

To prepare you for what’s ahead, we’ll cover:
  • Why we’re doing this (watch the video below).
  • Completing your survey to receive your personalized DISC Profile Report.
  • Reviewing your report and highlighting key themes.
  • How you can use your knowledge of DISC to understand and maximize team dynamics.
  • The GRIP Model and how this aids in developing and sustaining team culture.
