getting the people side right

As an experienced consultant, you know that the foundation of all professional and personal development is the same – it starts with strong self-awareness. This is why our DISC accreditation process starts with you completing your own Athlete Assessments DISC Profile. In your initial training session/s with Bo Hanson, you will use your own report to build a foundational awareness and understanding of DISC, before applying your knowledge to those you work with.

DISC Profiling is an effective way to expand your self-awareness and develop a comprehensive understanding of yourself and your DISC style, as well as the people you interact with. In addition to providing your clients with the tools they need, completing your DISC Accreditation will support your own professional development and interpersonal skills to enhance your performance as a sport psychologist, consultant, or development professional.

The goal of this platform is to guide your understanding of what’s most important, and create a strong foundational understanding of DISC Profiling, to ensure you maximise the value of your one-on-one training consultations with your dedicated trainer, Bo Hanson, and can use those sessions to focus on what is most relevant to you and your use of the assessments.

Included in this platform are training manuals and resources, examples of how others are using the assessments in different roles and environments, as well as facilitation guides to further support your work and utilization of the assessment capabilities. These resources will support you in building your existing knowledge of DISC, to help those you work with build awareness of themselves and others, adapt to different DISC Styles and environments, and identify their strengths and potential limiting behaviors to ultimately improve their communication and build effective working relationships.

To prepare you for what’s ahead, we’ll cover:
  • How to review your personalized DISC Profile Report and highlight key themes.
  • The foundations of DISC Profiling in preparation for your consultations
  • Learn from the experiences and insights of industry Sport Psychologists and Performance Consultants, and how they utilize DISC Profiling in their work.
  • Access tools and resources to support your training, expand your knowledge of DISC, and make use of the additional assessment reporting capabilities.
  • Continue to build on the application over time to suit the needs of those you work with, with facilitation materials, activities, and additional resources.
