overview: the people side

Welcome to Athlete Assessments’ Academic Program for Coaching using DISC.

No matter what stage of your career or education you are at, the foundation of all professional and personal development is the same – it starts with strong self-awareness.

DISC Profiling is an effective way to expand your self-awareness, develop a comprehensive understanding of yourself and your coaching style, as well as the people you interact with. By undertaking this behavioral assessment, you can lift your personal performance to the next level by clearly identifying the factors that will develop your interpersonal skills and help you be a better coach in any endeavor.

The goal of this program is to guide your understanding of why this is important, and create a strong foundation to apply DISC Profiling to your coaching and professional development. Give yourself the best opportunity to reach your full potential in your future career in sport by discovering how to be adaptable in your coaching, build on your strengths, identify and address potential limiting behaviors, and improve your communication, relationships, and teamwork with others.
