Welcome to Athlete Assessments’ Academic Program for Sport Psychology.
Whether you are preparing for a career as a sport psychologist, performance consultant, or you are a coach interested in how to use psychology as part of coaching your sport, the foundation of all professional and personal development is the same – it starts with strong self-awareness.
DISC Profiling is an effective way to expand your self-awareness, develop a comprehensive understanding of yourself and your personal style, as well as the people you interact with. By undertaking this component of your class, you can lift your personal performance to the next level by clearly identifying the factors that will develop your interpersonal skills and help you be a better sport psychologist, consultant, or coach.
The goal of this program is to guide your understanding of why this is important, and create a strong foundation to apply DISC Profiling to your professional development, as well as how it can be used to enhance the performance of your athletes and those you work with when your enter your field professionally. Give yourself the best opportunity to reach your full potential in your future career in sport by discovering how to be adaptable, build on your strengths, identify and address potential limiting behaviors, and improve your communication, relationships, and work with others.
